About Me

I am a contemporary artist based in Portland, Oregon, specializing in abstract expressionism and mixed media works. My artistic journey began over 15 years ago after completing my MFA at the Rhode Island School of Design.

My work explores the intersection between color, emotion, and memory. I draw inspiration from the natural landscapes of the Pacific Northwest, translating their essence into abstract forms that invite viewers to form their own emotional connections.

Each piece I create is a conversation between myself and the canvas, a dance of intuition and technique that evolves organically. I believe art should evoke feeling first and thought second.
